The personal and professional backgrounds of Axiom’s Principals are varied yet complementary. They have known each other for several years and worked together in other corporations.

Carlos Sanchez-Fuentes, Managing Partner, holds a BS in Physics from the National University of Mexico, an MS in Applied Mathematics from UCLA and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He is Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Sanchez-Fuentes has held positions with insurers, reinsurers and consulting companies in the US and the UK including Actuary for a prominent Managed Care Organization and Vice President in a successful consulting venture.

Michael Kemp, Partner, holds a BS in Mathematics from Northeastern University. He is Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant. Mr. Kemp is an experienced and highly regarded professional in the healthcare field, both in the US and abroad. His professional background includes C-level appointments with major players in the Accident and Health field.
